I couldn’t put The Submssive down when I finally started reading it. I couldn’t wait to read this book. I figured it was a continuation of the story. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Nathaniel’s POV (point of view) from the first book.

Nathaniel West doesn’t lose control.

As the playboy CEO of West Industries, he governs the boardroom during the day; as a strict dominant with exacting rules, he commands the bedroom at night. This was a book I would look at on the shelves at Target each time I went to the store. I kept telling myself I would read it when I had more time. Then then the second book in the series came out, The Dominant, and then I really wanted to read the books. So I bought them and treated myself to the series since by the time I bought them all three books were available. So glad I did since I could not put them down. The Writing Process – As the Writer Writes… #NaBloPoMo

As I mentioned before, some friends are participating in the NaNoWriMo this month. One friend in particular, has given me the amazing privilege to read the work as she writes. I am more and more impressed as each chapter is written and the story unfolds. All the little details she inserts, the twists and turns the story takes and how real the characters are becoming. I am not sure who is having more fun, her or me? Except that she knows how this ends and I don’t and I am sitting here, not very patiently waiting for the next chapter. Waiting to see what “he” does and how “she” reacts…and if it is all a dream I will send myself in an email to the author and strangle her neck when she opens the email. No, just kidding. But I won’t be very happy. But in the end, the author is the author and it is their story to tell. And I am enjoying the growth of the author and the characters in the story. Thank you for taking me on your journey with you.

We have come to respect this man and are lucky to know what we know about this amazing author. I found the rapid-fire questions intriguing as well. The interview was exciting to read.
