My Review:

I don’t know if this scene could be any better…you’ve had a on night stand, a REALLY hot one that you will not forget for a long time, but now you’re late. And I don’t mean to an important meeting. Late late as in Aunt Flo didn’t show. So your friend sets you up with her doctor who is not only hot but really good. As he is doing the exam, he realizes who you are. GAH! Shrivel up into a hole in the floor. I don’t think Bren could get any redder. Great scene.

And great couple, too. This is a cool story and the way the couple met was not really uncommon but rather more hilarious as the reader sees the scene unfolding before Bren and Mason know what is about to happen. Two people meet, the night was really amazing, but that’s all it was meant to be was one night. Or so they thought. Their story definitely has it’s ups and downs and some walls to break through but I love the devotion and determination of the characters in the story.

Kendall Ryan has another sweet story that will pull at your heart because you know there has to be a struggle before they get to the happy place. This struggle is unique and creative and it actually made my eyes water. I love the lines spoken between the couple as they struggle to show and tell their emotions with walls built up high between them. The characters were REAL to me and relate-able. I love the MATE series.
