My Review:
This story about Lilah and Roth is such an amazing love story and struggle of trust and faith. Not only the struggle between the two but the struggle within themselves. I’m not sure when I totally trusted either of them but as their connection got stronger and stronger I couldn’t help but believe in them. I loved the mix of mythology and love story. It is a grown up mythology tale so to speak. My son is a huge fan of mythology so this was a fun adventure for me to take on a more grown up level.
I don’t want to say too much to give this book away. It truly is well written story that I was so engrossed in the story, the characters, the scenery, the struggles, all of it. The depth of the story hooked me and the ending? Didn’t see it coming and never imagined it either. Wow! Loved this book! If you haven’t read other books by Celia than you need to.
