My Review:

She made me teary eyed. Kendall Ryan made me get teary eyed over Charlotte and Luke. That’s how well this story was written. I don’t cry over books. Except this one apparently. Lol.

Boy did I share Luke’s opinion of Charlotte when she entered the restaurant but the more I got to know her the more I liked her. She was written with attitude that softened as she explored Shady Grove.

Luke, twin brother of Duke and brother to Molly, has had a woman walk out of his life more than once. So when Charlotte breezes into town, just passing through, he tries to guard himself from falling too hard. He plans to have fun instead. Temporary entertainment until she leaves for her true destination. But he didn’t account for the fire that she lit inside him.

This was s great story. Cute people who are down to earth. I think Charlotte helped the Wilders and they helped her in return. Charlotte has such a messed up family and last she is running. Maybe a little time in Shady Grove will be good for her?

These characters mesh together well. The story runs smoothly and keeps you interested and many times you find you can’t wait to see what happens next. I love everything about the story. This was a cool storyline with interesting details. I hope we learn about Duke next? Maybe?
