When you’re the prince of Hollywood, and everyone wants a piece of the action. I’ve got paparazzi stalking my every move, and supermodels lined up to spread their legs for a shot at fame. But this girl is different. She’s been hired by the studio to keep me in line. One wrong move, and my comeback is going up in smoke.I should keep my distance, but I’ve never played by the rules.

Doesn’t Mr. Hawkins understand I do not like cliffhangers? Okay, so you know the book ends in a cliffhanger. It’s a “yell at the author, what was he thinking” type of cliffhanger. Seriously.
This is a different story line which I enjoyed, one focused on the movie industry. The main character Dylan is an actor and the young girl, Gemma is also in the movie studio business. Dylan is wild, careless and carefree. Almost too much so. Hence the need for Gemma, or so the movie theater thinks so.
The interaction between the two characters is rather cute. Gemma can not handle Dylan, at least at this point. I think I would handcuff him to his trailer so he couldn’t leave. I am not sure how Gemma is going to do her job, but Dylan would make me lose my job. He is so unpredictable and frustrating. Gemma better figure out how to control him or she will be out of a job soon. He has no respect for her job even if it is to help him succeed.
Cute, short story but I anxiously await the part two to see how this plays out. I was a bit upset when the book ended. This is my first book by JD Hawkins. I will be going back to get his other two and read them as well.
