What began as a weekend arrangement of pleasure has become a passionate romance with a man who knows every inch of her body and her soul – yet remains an enigmatic lover. Though he is tender and caring, his painful past remains a wall between them.

My Review:
This is the third book in the series and while I found the first two more exciting, this book was still a good read. It picked right up where “The Dominant” left off. The story take us through the lives of Abby and Nathaniel who are trying to make the relationship work as lover and dom/sub. I really liked how they both learned how and when to talk to one another about their scenes and their relationship. This story is more about the couple with less family involved but still mentioned. Nathaniel is obviously in love with Abby and does everything possible to make sure she is happy and secure in their relationship. Little “issues” pop up and the couple learns how to deal with them and I loved those challenges and their reaction to them. The sex scenes were just as steamy and classy as they were in the other books. The BDSM scenes were amazing and loving, Nathaniel truly cares for Abby’s safety and well being above his.
